History: Mon- Finish History Pockets, Pyramid video, Tues- History Pockets due, Wed- Chapter 6, Read 202-207, Lesson review 207 1-6, Thurs- Topographic maps 208-209, Fri- Review packet for lesson 1.

7th grader English and History

Spelling- Review lists 1-12. Study 3 lists each night. No homework, but we will play games in class to practice the words.

Lang: Mon-123-125A, Tues- 125B, Wed- 125C-127, Thurs- 127D, Fri- 127E.

A Single Shard- Read chapters 11-13 by Wed.. Workbook in groups on Wed.. Vocabulary test on Thursday. Group work on Friday.

Creative Writing: New assignment this week, due Friday.

History: Mon- Review and Extend worksheets for 5.2 and quiz, Tues- Read and complete notes for 5.3. Wed- Lesson review pg 315, add to foldable, Thurs- Review and Extend worksheets for 5.3 and quiz, Fri- Primary Sources pgs 316-317.

Eighth grade English

Creative Writing: Begin research for compare and contrast essays on Mon.. First draft due Friday.

Lit groups: Meet Tuesday and Friday.

Lit. Terms: Run On and End-stopped Lines- Friday.

Analogies- New list on Monday. In-class activities daily.
