Science Fair projects continue to impress! Many students have taken the initiative to have me edit their assignments prior to the due date. I'll give students who do so full credit if they make the changes I suggest by the due date.

The fair is just three weeeks away - THURSDAY 5 FEB. Please mark you calendars for this event; a major undertaking for CTCS.

ASSIGNMENTS this week:

Tues 20 Jan - Review day of Creation and Evolution (nice debate last Thurs!!)

Thurs 22 Jan - Creation vs Evolution quiz on vocab (Note cards returned last week), and major views of the issue.

Fri 23 Jan - Begin Classification (Ch 10)

8th USH
Our Adopt-a-State assignment has been given and students have chosen and begun researching their state.

This is a complex assignment that will require students to teach the class, using handouts and a Power Point presentation they make.

No more class time will be given to researching; refer to due dates on the yellow handout...and don't forget your teaching date!!

Student Teaching research papers are due in class on Tuesday 20 Jan...and we'll watch the inauguration in class.

Student Teaching begins in class on Wed 21 Jan. Two students teach each day.
